About 8 months ago, I asked something of you. I’m not even sure you remember it, but the fact is, you actually kept that promise. What I asked was ‘please don’t let anyone, no matter how good intended, come between us, let us solve our own problems’.
Yes people, we have our little problems, that we solve, together, between ourselves.
But you, you are everything I ever asked for. You are extremely patient with me, even when I’m an asshole to you. Even when I’m too needy and ask too much of you. Even when I’m stupid and don’t understand you a first.
Thank you for staying with me. Thank you for putting up with me. Thank you for helping me grow. Thank you for loving me. Thank you for letting me love you.
May the next 8 months be as good as these were. ***
